PMQ Seed 2025 Creative Training Class - Inspiration Lab

The programme was based on design thinking, guiding Form 1 and Form 2 students to explore their connections with campus spaces through their sensory experiences, stimulating their creativity and critical thinking.

They transformed the corners of their school by creating interactive devices, elevating users’ experiences in different spaces on campus.

Students first explored different locations on campus to identify their emotional connections with the space and empathise with the experiences of other users to understand their needs.

By working in groups, they conceptualised corresponding creative design proposals for their chosen campus corners based on the

inspirations gathered through sensory exploration, aiming to change how other users perceive and experience the corners.

At the same time, they used body movements and associated ways of interacting with the space, helping them design their ideas.

Finally, students combined and modified various materials with different colours and functions to create prototypes.

It applied to their chosen campus corners to provide sensory experiences and interaction with others.

In the last lesson, each group presented their creative outcomes and shared their making process, deepening their learning experience.

At the end of each class, the teaching team reviewed with the groups to enhance their understanding.
